Boyd Jones Construction has established a special tradition with the students at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska that combines construction, art, Christmas and philanthropy. Sacred Heart is a Catholic, mission elementary school for children of all faiths. Located in the heart of the inner-city, Sacred Heart provides specialized kindergarten through eighth grade education for children from the community directly surrounding the school.

Every year students from each class put their best efforts into creating a design for the Boyd Jones Christmas card. Boyd Jones employees pick the winning designs each year, one design from the kindergarten through fourth grade students and one design from the fifth through eighth grade students. The winning students receive a cash prize and are recognized for their achievement at an all school party. Each winning student’s teacher also receives a cash gift to use for something special for the entire class. This year’s winning artists were fourth grader LaMott and seventh grader TeNai.
